Random thoughts...

So before losing my 40-something pounds, I didn't really focus on my appearance. I didn't take the time to do my hair too well or buy clothing that looks nice. I didn't want to try and I gave up on "looking nice."

Recently, I noticed that I've had more interest in fashion and my appearance. I'm taking more time to pick out clothes that'll flatter my figure and trying to do something different with my hair.

One example, that happened recently involved my hair. I have naturally wavy/curly hair that I hate to deal with, so the other day I straightened it. I haven't done my hair in YEARS.

And I love it! I just wish it didn't take me almost two hours to do it. It's a great arm work out tho haha.

Yeah... just noticing the subtle things about how my weight loss journey has increased my confidence and mindset.
