Good morning everyone or good afternoon wherever you may be:)
I seem to be stuck in a plateau for my weight loss.
i have tried calorie cycling and that doesn't seem to be helping
i have been reading up on Intermittent Fasting. i watched Thomas Lauder he is very knowledgeable
I do see alot of posts here from people doing fasting days. does this help really? and how do you do it or how does it work best for you.

I do IF (18/6) usually. But because of all the nuts and Keto desserts I had over the holiday, I am embarking on my first long hour fast. So maybe that will be quite helpful for you too.

It's easy! I ate my last meal for the day a bit early, then waited until the same time next day to start eating! I fast only on Sundays, so saturday's dinner is the last time I ate. drink water, take vitamins, and fight the hunger! Other forms of fasting is simply skipping breakfast (or breakfast and lunch) everyday. Fasting is just another way to cut calories by skipping the meal and letting your body use fat for it's energy. It's literally starvations mode if you think about it but hey, that's what body fat is for, it's literally stored energy waiting to be used! Stay warm up there! :)

I was curious how long you have been stuck. Sometimes when I have plateaued (but I know I have had calorie deficit), my body takes a few days to register it on the scale. I drink a fair amount of water everyday and I think sometimes the body needs to hold extra water to help with functions. If you are really active (or had higher than normal salt intake) and slack on water the same day, when you drink anything the next day or two your body WILL hold that liquid until you drink fluids regularly again. Sounds weird but try to notice if you are urinating as much liquid as you are drinking. Our bodies are very smart organisms; trust your body~it knows what it is doing 😉
