She had a warriors spirt inside a heavy body. Ok the original quote was she had a gentle spirit inside a heavy body but I like my tweek better. lol I would rather think of myself as a warrior spirit inside a heavy body. So that is the way I'm approaching things these days.

Elliptical or equivalent for a half hour every day, upping plank, squat, pushup, and crunch exercises gradually over time. I'm going to get to that 5 minute plank if it kills me. It very well might. As a matter of fact I'm pretty sure it probably will. The 3rd time on a 1 minute has me praying for it all to end so well.. yaknow. And introducing yoga so when I get to that warrior body it will be one that can really move. lol

Limiting carbs.. again. I tried the whole just count calories thing and ate whatever I wanted for 2 weeks and it just isn't what's right for me. I aggressively ate an entire bag of carrots while staring at a bowl of dark chocolate..

I've found motivation. Both with being tired of where I'm at, summer is on the way, and it helps a friend from back home mentioned coming here for a visit... lol

you have to find what works best for you when you decide on the eating plan..as for the planks...great full body workout an it doesnt take alot of time...intensity workouts are great for someone with little time to spend..

It's already in the 80's here and my body is in no shape to be in shorts let alone a swimsuit. We have friends coming for the weekend and they will want to be in the pool. I may have to watch from the edge. Keep doing what works for you and you'll be in summer condition in no time.

What plank form are you doing? Arms strait or down on your forearms? I do yoga from you tube and really like a series with a lady named Adrian. She does lots of planks but with the arms strait.

Hang with it buddy - low carb really works for me, and it could work for you. I stay around 30 grams total - but "Low' can be 50 grams total . Once I dropped the wheat and other starches, I lost. Once you get used to it, you do not miss it.
