The more I read of the "Obesity Code", the more confused I get as to what eating regime I would be best to follow. I suppose it will become clear when I finally reach the end!
Here is a happy snap of Lucy and Lily. Best of friends. Well at least for TODAY!

Oh your gorgeous kitties - I could just hug them. Do they like being brushed? I would imagine they need it with their long fur.

Lucy is between 4 and 7 (she is a rescue cat and we were told 18 months old, then the vet said she could be 24 - 30 months). We have had her 3 years. Lily is 7 months old. Lucy loves being brushed, and needs it. Lily is not that keen. She is still skin and bone and not that thick a coat at present, though we think it will get thicker. All Lucy wants to do is laze about, and all Lily wants to do is fight and play, and fight some more. We think Lucy has some Norwegian Forest about her. She has the double coat, fur on the soles of her feet, tufts on the ears and Retinal dysplasia, an eye defect that causes spots on the retina but does not worsen the cat’s vision.

Superb pic. I wonder what they spying on? It all seems a bit complicated.. The Obesity Code, I've have tried to cheat my way around the web, by skimming and scanning my research. All I want is a few simple meal plan ideas , but the main advocates are, in effect, sales marketing, and want you to sign up for the recipes and more videos. I'm trying not to read too much as I have had enough of research at the moment. So if you find a meal planner for this let me know. I really think its more simple than we can imagine. Have a happy Tuesday

Beautiful shot of your two gorgeous furbabies, Jocko! I skimmed through the Obesity Code. Most of the fasts I didn't think I could do as they went on for days. So far, I managed a 23 hour fast but that was from eating dinner at night and then fasting the next day ... eating dinner again. That way I still had a meal part the of the main fast day.

So far there is nothing about fasting in the half of the book I have read. I have that to come! For years I ate one meal a day and I was still overweight!!

Jocko, (correct me if I am wrong) I don't think that he is prescribing any type of diet, exactly. He is pretty much summing up when and how we became obese in different countries. GMO wheat and corn, overly processed foods, high fructose corn syrup, etc. You can lose weight doing different diets, but in the end fasting is how to get the weight off, improve insulin resistance, improve the adrenals, stabilize blood sugar, etc.

You are correct. You have to take what you need out of the book. Once you know what makes you fat it is a case of doing the opposite.

Jocko, I think you are doing a form of fasting because you have such a long gap between your evening meal and breakfast.

My wife lost a good amount of weight (about 4-5 dress sizes) by just not eating after 6pm. She eats what she likes, doesn't count calories and never sets foot on a set of scales!

That's a great result for your wife, Jocko. My congrats to her.
