I love chili. I make a vegetarian one when I am trying to loose weight and everyone loves it! I add pineapple and crushed red pepper...that's my secret. A little head and a little sweet! Good luck!

Yay! It's much easier when spouses join in. Tip on the amount of chili. When I make large amounts of chili, stew, or the such, I use an electric roaster, the big one, so frying the meat is the only tough thing. Use it for roasting chicken and turkey.

It's hard to get everyone up and out of the house in the morning and remember to bring everything! I put post its on my keys or phone. You might want to bring some snacks to have at work in case you forget your lunch so that your energy and focus don't plummet causing you to run out for that unhealthy option (yes, I know from lots of experience! Lols) Chili is one of my favorites--enjoy!

Thanks Jparlett, Jozette99, HCB, John10251, Sugar Waffel, ChicaLean, Rania Dridi, Kpwcalories, Steven Lloyd, Suzytrws, 8hunter6, Nightwillow416, Glenny1220, Rockiesfan. @talk2bjs, sounds yummy. @Vlkea01, ChicaLean, steven, I am glad my spouse is joining me. She problably will not be able to do the chili every day, however I've already suggested her to look at some other buddies following LCHF / Keto plan diet calendar for suggestions and she already like their entries. I can eat the same thing M-W, F and Sa. Thursday nights and Sunday morning, I will have to figure something out. @bikerT, I have a draw with snacks but I wan't to keep my carbs below 50. @iulani, he will come around when he is ready not a moment before. @suzytrws, yes it is Bcoulal's recipie to the tee except the garlic wasn't organic. @ HCB as they say in New England, if you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes.

Come on over smartygirlCA with the kids. I am so stuffed. Tomorrow I will forgo the Kerigold butter and cut my cashews snack down to one serving. Wow the chili tastes great and high fat makes you sooooo full. No alcohol for dinner.

I grew up and lived in Boston and outside of the city until I was about 25 years old. The weather patterns have changed since I left. In fact, Minneapolis has gotten less snow than Boston for several years now! Weird!

That's great Ches! For the past several days hubby has been eating exactly what I eat except for my morning coffee, he don't want no crap in his coffee! LOL hot and black straight from the pot is how he likes it. It sure makes cooking meals easier when everyone is on the same page. Good Luck to the both of you!

When I cook, my hubby loses weight without even changing anything....he just eats balanced meals. BUT he will join the fitness gym I already go to soon and I'm excited to share that experience with him. It's cool your wife is joining you!
