Apparently, my body likes being at this weight. I keep ending up here. The problem with allowing myself to be more indulgent during the holidays is when I want to get back to normal I have to fight feeling hungry at times I don't usually feel hungry.
I started taking down the Christmas decorations yesterday. The lighted garland has been removed from the bannister & mantel. I left the snowmen & trees on the mantel for now. I took the ornaments off the smaller alpine tree & removed Santas & other asst. stuff. I haven't packed it in the boxes yet....it's all organized in the sunroom waiting. Tomorrow I'll do the other alpine tree & start on the big tree.
Gym today. For some reason, I'm not feeling as enthusiastic about going as I was, but I am going on the "scheduled" days. I missed several during the holidays, but plan to get back to it now the holidays are over. I do start getting into it once I'm there & start my routine. Maybe it's the cold weather. I'd be happy staying home, in my robe, drinking coffee longer if I could.
I can't seem to keep my calories below 1700 right now. I need to work a bit harder at it. Hopefully, today will be OK since I burned extra at the Gym. But, I need to cut back on the days between if I want to get back to my goal weight. It's only about 4 lbs. but it's not coming easy 😒 I was trying to eat the leftovers in moderation. I should plan some meals with protein & veggies. And dessert needs to be one treat....not a combination of things.
I measured my waist this morning & it's up an inch. I don't really look like I've gained much, but I can tell.
Well, off to bed 😴💤💤💤 I can hear it's starting to rain. We could have some freezing rain overnight. 🌧 ❄️
