This is probably for my lady friends here—was walking alone this a.m. and too hot so wearing shorts and skimpy workout top…meaning all my loose, jiggly arms and legs and tummy were on full, not suitable for public viewing, view. It was just so hot. Some very cute younger dude driving by stops and tells me I’m stunning!!! WAIT, WHAT? In my head I’m like, do you not see all this loose evidence of obesity and age? All this jiggly skin? What i said was, “seriously? Thanks so much. Im nearly 60!😅”. Why did i say that? He then asks if I’m married and tells me hubs is a lucky dude (which i tell him all the time😂). My point being, we are so hard on ourselves and just because we may have an internal camera that tells us what the external view is sometimes it is healthier to just say thank you and BELIEVE. Told my hubs and he laughed. He asked if i was trading him in. As if….love of my life. Anyway, for what it’s worth….you all are beautiful, lovely people just thought i would pass it on. (The white boy below, He loves mommy no matter what i look like🥰)
