God is good Anne, and his strength is unlimited. As long as we remember to lean on Him we can get through anything! Your post was very inspirational, thank you for sharing :) God Bless!

You are so right, Ann! Getting through this life would be too difficult without Him. I can get pretty wound up watching Fox News :)  

One step at a time Ann. It's the only way I know of to get through some days. Hope you get the leaky pipe fixed. Your Mom's dementia, your daughters and what happens in the world those issues will continue but a leaky pipe you can fix, even if you do it yourself. Go hunting online if you need some pointers on how to's. I was thrilled I managed to stop my hot water heater from leaking before leaving for the weekend.  

Thanks for lifting us up--we can be strong in the face of the impossible, if we're not relying on our own strength and wisdom, right? Hugs!

Prayers for you my friend! 

I totally commend you Ann for your boldness for our Lord, God Almighty regarding the atheist friends!!! I don't even bother to watch Fox anymore...I get enough emails from all kinds of sources all making you so depressed of what is happening in our own country. If I didn't have the Lord I swear I would not be able to handle what's going on in losing our freedoms and trashing our country...I think I would become a homicidal maniac...but God gives me the peace in my heart and mind to be able to cope and I am so thankful that HE is in control of no matter what happens. All things do work for good that love the Lord. I've seen the evidences of this in my lifetime making this statement true. I have a friend who is an atheist and she is such a miserable person inside and cannot cope with stresses going on around her. My daughter has a boyfriend who does all he can to mock and ridicule Christians...I am so THANKFUL that she is realizing how truly empty he is without God in both of their lives...and she is finally moving on. Pray that she stays strong and continues to go her own way - away from someone who literally despises and mocks God. I had said at prayer at my son's wedding table before we all ate at the banquet and afterwards my daughter's boyfriend very loudly ridiculed me for it. It didn't bother me in the least - I just felt pity that he was so miserable in his own soul without God. So, kudos to you Ann for bringing this subject up!  

I just join today staring my journey with this diet for me God is control thank you your post yes is true with out God holding are hands and prayers we can not make it. God Bless you. 

Ann--I am laughing my tushie off. I just posted something and dang it, the screen closed and I lost it. Yes, I'm drinking a glass of wine, but that has nothing to do with it! I'm scampering to clean this house because I am getting a new heater on Monday. I've been without heat and hot water for, hmmmmm.....your Mom can probably tell me--seriously. Ugh. Boiling water on the stove to carry to the bathtub to have a HOT bath. Yes, I either get a freezing cold bath (no way) or a scalding one (I have to add cold water to the boiling water and never get it adjusted right--ouch). I couldn't make it without God. I think I have it so bad to have to boil water all this time, but on Monday--a new heater, new hot water--YES!!!! I don't think I would appreciate this as much if I didn't go through what I have. I remember my Mom doing this here and there (not because of her heater, but because she was on a budget plan and someone used too much hot water--LOL). Yes, there is a God--ONE God--carrying us, when we need it :) Let's not forget Jesus, who forgives our tushies and Blesses us to have better journeys. Prayer's to you, Lady. You make me smile every time :)

I agree Ann444, without God I am nothing and will never be anything....He is my rock as well as my salvation. 

I am Christian but this reminds me...You get to heaven...as you are meeting God He sneezes...What do you say? 

Great journal. I'm glad it didn't get erased! Sometimes it's better to laugh at life than to cry about it! God bless you! 

God doesn't sneeze! he is perfect, Holy and has no blemishes!:) What will I say... I will say, "Thank you Lord for dying for all my sneezes in life, and for loving me even though I have warts, and blemishes and my sneezes, called-sin")! PTL:) Understanding our relationship with God is what gets us-me through this confusing life-(My diet!) To you, I say-GBU!:)love ~Ann:)
