Ugh...totally messed up. I ate dinner before I left to go out tonight. I was going to have Salmon, but hubby cooked a small piece of cod (?) and at the most, 1/4 cup of rice (cooked). We went to Hooter's and I didn't order anything except a glass of pinot. Weeeellll.....I was starved. I ate some fries (not alot, but enough for me to worry since I've been doing so goo) and 3 naked hot wings. I can't even record what I ate because I don't know how to do that calorie-wise. I'm so upset. It's ont thing to cheat on something that is healthy--maybe shrimp, lobster, but fries and wings? That was absolutely crazy.

Cheats happen, just stick to healthy eating and don't let this get you off track. Try and bring snacks with you for when you are out just in case! If you want to record (to look back on later) just pick something close like 3 fried wings and hot sauce. :)

i cheat all the time... i just move on the next meal and get back on the wagon instead of using it as a reason to keep cheating , which ive been known to do..and I hardly record my cheats.. bc i dont want to know how bad they were... Tomorrow is a new day ..my favorite for eating out is a side salad.. boring but better than nothing and some places have really good salads LOL...

Think we have all been there. We make good plans and then it happens... I hate it when I know how I am going to handle a situation and then I'm blindsided. I am like you if I am going to cheat make it worthwhile! Be kind to yourself and just think through about what you will do differently next time. You are going to succeed!

Just my two cents for what it's worth, but your food log looks really healthy. I can't imagine your small cheat at Hooter's will cause much damage :) I think you are doing awesome!

Personally, if I'm going to cheat, I'm making it worthwhile! Wings and fries are the best cheats because you don't eat them every day - healthy stuff, you do. No worries, just move on and go back to healthy!

It happens to everyone, don't beat yourself up! Besides, as far as cheating goes, that doesn't sound too bad to me :)

Thank you everyone for you support. I don't know what I would do without it. I'll be right back on track today. I'm usually pretty good with my diet. I should have known not to eat it when I knew I couldn't log it. LOL. I am going to see if it's on here somewhere. This is the main reason why I eat the exact same thing every day :). I'm hoping it's nice out today and I can walk :)

You will survive Jillzee! You are a fighter Jillzee! You have made no excuses & are being honest with yourself. Only good things can come from such honesty. Let's get out there & slay this day that has been prepared for us to climb this mountain. Let's put one foot in front of the other & make things happen. We will tame this beast girl. I know it. You know it. We all know it. The poor beast is the only one that hasn't realized we are leading him to his deathbed. I think I might prepare him an obituary so he can read it before I chop his head off! Let's do this!!!

You had a a few wings and fries. If you don't cheat often, don't worry about it. You have to LIVE while you lose. If you know you are going out, look at a menu on line and plan for it into your day. So you can enjoy some food and not feel guilty.

Thank you. I did put in my calories in the end. Linda said Hooter's food was on here and I found it. Thank you Linda. Funny thing--if I had not eaten the fish and rice before I left, I would have been within my calories. I didn't eat much at Hooter's, but still it was food I wasn't used to and I thought it would have been worse. Back on to being good so far.
