This is not good :-( Once thrown out of balance I am having a hard time to get back to my eating plan. Every day a new start and then something comes up and I am screwed - or better, my plan is screwed and with it am I. But I am not giving up, I'll start again and again, every day is a new day and a new beginning. Hopefully I'll get back to it .... and then comes Thanksgiving :'(

That is hard! I wish you good luck in finding your way.
What works for me is making positive plans, like “Today I’ll walk for 20 minutes,” or “I’ll drink s cup of water before I eat.” That way I am building healthy habits instead of denying myself.

Remember you can't look forwards and backwards at the same time. Just look forwards. You trip over less stuff. :D I just looked at your food diary and you seem to go brutal on yourself the day after you eat 'high' calories. I would suggest you work out your TDEE, which is possibly around 1700? I don't know your age and height... and any day you don't go over your tdee, you realise you have lost weight and you chalk it up as a win. Don't take yesterday's eating into today. it's discouraging and creates a rollercoaster. :) xx all the best and hang on in there, you've just lost a pack of weight in a really short time. go look at my timeline if you don't believe me... :/

it was about 15 pounds ago, but I lost the same 5 pounds at least 30 times, if not more. I get it!! *keep going 👊

Thanks everyone for your wonderful support. Of course I will go forward. On a side a note, I am not punishing myself. My food diary is not correct. The days that seem so low are days where I did not complete it I just had no clue how to log whatever I ate. I'll hit the scale in the morning and will see the result

That’s right! Every day is a new start! I’m not counting calories on Thanksgiving!! I refuse!

In order to make counting calories easier, I don’t make casseroles or any recipe that has a million different ingredients thrown together.
I keep my food simple. Cook foods separately, then measure/weigh and assemble after.
