tomorrow am is WID day! I'm so excited. I've been so faithful to my new diet plan which I've been doing since Sunday. It's a bit of Paleo, Calorie Counting, Clean Eating, 16:7. I just hope I'm not disappointed, because if I am, I don't know what to do next. Anything under a lbs will be disappointing. Realistic expectations for weight loss are one of the most important aspects to weight loss. No matter what the scale says, you know you are doing positive things for you health and future. So many things can effect the scale, and mask our efforts of weight loss sometimes. If you eat too much sodium the night before a weigh in, you can see you water weight go up on the scale masking your loss the next day. Hormones, medications, sickness, exercise, inflammation, etc. can all affect our water weight and make the scale fluctuate. Google "why the scale lies" if you haven't read the article yet. I'm sure you will do fine. The scale doesn't always reflect our efforts straight away. Sometimes we don't see the effects of our efforts till next week or later. Consistency is key with weight loss and persistence is key to getting to goal. The scale is only one way to measure weight loss success. How we look and feel is another (take measurements). If you feel disappointed in your weigh in, suck it up and keep going. The scale eventually catches up with what we are doing. But I'm sure you will do fine. Any loss takes us to goal!!! Good luck!
