Almost a year into maintenance (March) and I'm still "addicted" to weighing my food. Smart??? Even if I eat over my calories for the day I feel more comfortable knowing.

Diet Calendar Entry for 29 January 2021:

I get the feeling it's going to be the same for me. So hard not to weigh.

I have been weighing breakfast and lunch meals for more than 20 years. It’s just an ingrained habit. My food entries for the evening meal are the great American short story.— mostly fiction. I cook. I don’t eat out because I like what I make better than most restaurant foods. I am also a seat of the pants type of cook; a little of this, a little o that, this leftover etc. almost impossible for me to keep an exact record of what I use so I just find a similar item in the data base and use it. Mostly it is just a place marker for the type of food item I ate for that meal and a ballpark macro count. I also eat a higher carb diet than many here because I want the nutritional content that some of my choices provide.
