GOOOOOOOOD SATURDAY MORNIN!!!!!!...day 494......another cooler morning outside again today, but after the dew burns off its suppose to be in the 80s...had planned on a no weight day and just floor exercises an cardio today, but friend called last night to ask if i wanted to join him in splittin wood an runnin a chain saw...told him id split wood, but didnt want to mess with any chain saws...he said to be ther at 9am...so....gettin ready to eat a big breakfast, and then go to shop an do a dumbbell workout to get warmed up for the day....then do a short walk...been thinkin about all the calories i been eating lately and ive decided that mabye i been eating them cause of the workouts ive been doing and mabye my body needs the extra...ive been doing 2 workouts on days that i do weights, with a day off and on the days off im not as hungry...so im thinkin the busier days are cause my body needs the extra to keep it satisfied...sounds good anyways...lol...so....catch you all later today...keep that body moving...remember to keep that body guessin on exercise and to always challange your body...doing the same routine still works off calories, but not as many if you challange it with different routines or workouts!!!!!....later!!

addon...went out an did a short dumbbell workout, just enough to give my upper body a workout, then came bck into the house...decided to take a day off of cardio as i kno i will get alot of movin around splittin the wood today and stacking it...walked by the bed an it called my name..layed bck down an slept for another hour...lol..guess i needed it...now im up an ready to get the day started once again....

Sounds like another active day for the tomato farmer! :) I don't blame you for avoiding chainsaws. They are scary! And LOUD!

See how POSITIVE your journal is! I just love clicking onto your profile for a splash of sunshine! Your reference to the weight work reminds me that I need to get back after it with those resistance bands of mine! Thanks for appealing to my conscience. YOU ARE THE BEST!

You'll burn more calories and get better cardio w/o the chain saw anyways... =)

I agree with you that when you do a lot of exercise, it makes you more hungry! It has happened to me time and time again. I have to learn how to control that hunger so that I don't offset all the exercise I have done! I've found that if I do moderate exercise I can stay on track food-wise a lot easier and lose weight. But that's just me...LOL

Hey Mike -- you are as busy as ever! Your exercise plan sounds like a good one - working out twice in a day? -- are you trying to make me look bad or feel guilty - or BOTH! I did think about you this AM because on Saturdays I meet lookin2bfit at the health club for an hour of non stop step cardio and then a 25 minute class on core strength training -- for a total of about 1 1/2 hours -- and I was thinking I have read in your journals that you used to go to the club and work out every day for at LEAST 1 1/2 hours - now that is IMPRESSIVE. Thanks again for all the continued inspiration and your positive outlook on everything -- AND your chart is looking mighty fine - can you believe you are down to 285??? You have come so far already and made such great changes when you adopted your new healthy lifestyle! Have a super, fantastic weekend!
