Day 1 of a planned 3 days of eating

Greatest period of rapid weight loss for me where I was not primarily water fasting.

There is clearly no direct correlation between “NetCalories by Date” (calories consumed – calories expended) and “WeightP by Date”.

However, the periods of super low carbs *and* protein are always followed by a sustained loss.

Also, for me, when protein spikes, it is *always* followed by a weight spike.

😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

@jenjabba - Perhaps. My concern was, (1) I have a 'calorie deficit' (2) I am eating low carb (3) Sometimes I lose weight and sometimes I *gain* weight - - Why is this happening? Analyze the data... Protein *must* be below 100g - - If the 'excess protein' is converted to glucose the result is the same as just eating the carbs. This is why the carnivore won't help me :(

Food for thought Adef...would it be safe to say that looking at your data graphs there is also a strong correlation between protein spikes and fat spikes?

@Steven Lloyd - I put heavy cream (practically pure fat) in my protein shakes so when I have 4 shakes a day rather than say 2, I will also double my fat. However, I will also put heavy cream in my tea, so on days where I have more tea I will have high fat. Those are the days where I am able to see that high fat, the same calories, but low protein leads to weight loss. Again, keep in mind when I talk about "High Protein" I am having days at 150g+ I'm not talking about normal 50g-100g consumption :) However, because of the protein shakes, I can take in 25g of protein with only 110 calories, so I can do 150g of protein with only 660 calories. Even with 900g of fat that comes out to only 1500 calories. As you know that is still a huge calorie deficit when I am also running and going to the gym. But, my data shows, when I hit protein levels that high it is the equivalent of having high carbs. Many people can consume 100g in carbs and lose weight, however, many of us simply can't.

Have you analyzed dairy vs no dairy? I know you won't give up dairy, I'm just curious?.

@jenjabba The only time I did not have dairy was when I was 'water fasting' with my initial weight loss in March of 2018. The weight loss was rapid, but, I also had really low carbs, protein, and fat at the same time. But, yeah I would never give up dairy because protein shakes without the heavy cream do not 'fill me up' nor taste as good. The only way to get fat, without dairy, is to "Eat solid food" like avocados. That could trigger a 'eating binge' so I like to avoid that during the week.
