Anyone else find it funny when someone posts that they ate sub 1k calories people freak out but when someone goes on a 24 hour+ fast they get all kinds of support.

@diablo - the muscle is much harder to gain quote! So that’s the reason for cut and bulk cycles... I’m old but new to much of this...... I think a light bulb just came on! Lol.

Yes, 60pack, muscle requires adequate protein and you need to push yourself to acquire it. And to maintain it while working to reveal it, your protein percentage needs to go up and you need to keep pushing yourself while maintaining a calorie deficit but not one so large that it affects your workouts. Use it and feed it or lose it.

To build or maintain muscle, you want to raise muscle protein synthesis in your body several times a day by eating 4+ times to be optimal. This is why I am no fan of large deficits, low protein, or long fasts.
