Well, crap. Why can't a fat-loss cycle go this well? I'm trying to gain weight here, stupid body!
My activity hadn't changed since July. I've only adjusted my calories.
I've increased my calories since then and I was stumped as to why I'm losing now while eating more.
I remember a year ago, CB mentioning how my NEAT must be through the roof... that's it! I forgot that when I eat big, I burn more 👍🏻
I'll be jumping up to 3300 calories/day starting today 🤘🏻

You were only eating 3k? I averaged 3100 this month and lost 5 pounds. We move a lot and lifting kills those calories. 🦾

Dude, I had 232 grams of protein yesterday and my workout today was awesome. I think I will focus on it more like I used to before I began counting calories. Idk if it's placebo but man, it was my strongest workout in a while. 250 pounds for 12 reps and 270 for 7. 71 pounds above bodyweight for 12 reps is pretty good.

I remember chasing that 225. The first time I saw a guy do 275 at the gym was mind-blowing. I couldn't even do 200 at the time. Then at one point, I could hit 275 for 12+ reps and it was no longer impressive. It's all relative. It's similar to how weight loss works. It seems to take forever but one day you look back at an old picture and realize all the progress you've made. Goes for weight gain too.

And I did renew my license. I was the first one there so no wait. I was out 3 minutes after they opened. They let me in early. Pleased with the pic too. More chiseled and a better hair cut lol

There are plenty of people who want to or need to gain weight and can’t. We’re not the only ones suffering physically and mentally, not just in terms of wanting to gain muscle mass but also for people who are chronically ill.
