Diddlee's Journal, 12 September 2019

Powerless yesterday. When washing the dishes I realized why. Sore and weak motor control. That last weight lifting session was wild.

Scrossa said Refuel last time I felt weak and I did my best. 16 eggs and around 3 pounds of meat. Annoyed when feeling full, as I wanted to eat more.

Step on the scale this morning, and all is well there. Had ten hours of sleep yesterday with near normal levels of deep sleep. Take that as a sign of muscle healing is near completion.

It is still early days, but I do get an impression that the body fat go down, while the muscle weight go up. Figure I'll get a more clear picture after a month or three.

I do not think I would dare to take on this muscle up project, without clear knowledge about meat being practically zero on the Energy scale. Energy is found in fat and carbs, and I do not do carbs. I've tried, and find carbs makes me weak.

Had my first coffee, and try to judge if the body is ready for tearing up more muscle. Doesn't feel like it is, so I may just have to do another healing day. More meat, less eggs feel right for today.

Hope you feel better. Sometimes when I feel weak it has to do with electrolyte imbalance too.

Eat a balanced diet, 40,40,20 (Carbs, Protein, Fat). I am usually in the 50,30, 20 level, but try to eat at least 160 grams of protein each day. 1 gram equal to current weight.

srossca Due to a history of carb abuse, I ran into deadly insulin resistance issues. Need to condition my body to a life without carbs in my daily food. I find great pleasure in delegating my need for carbs to a superbly qualified organ, my liver.

Sorry to hear about the Carb/Insulin issue. Hopefully the Proteins & Fats can fulfill the appetite!!
