Sous Vide in focus today. Would love to pre-cook the sausages properly. That way, all I have to do is to sear one quick.
Made a batch of garlic&pepper sausages on Saturday, and it takes awhile to fry one single sausage from raw.
Those Sous Vide 'sticks' have a fairly low price, and could act as a beginner tool I guess. The more pro devices are priced high.

you could treat them like brats and boil them in beer and then set them aside to grill later

00Marx00 Think I tried that once in Australia, and it had an amazing taste and tenderness. Great idea for a special bbq party. Went ahead and ordered a SousVide cooker. New toy, with potential for a future of better food at a lower price.
