Tried a couple of days of intermittent fasting, this is very hard for me, the acid content in my stomach is high if there is nothing in i get heartburn .

Some people have good result with apple cider vinegar (the real type). Just some in water should do it.

I put my apple cider vinegar and lemon juice in plain selzer. Works great and I actually like it.

I always use a bit of baking soda in a small glass of water. About 1/4 tsp should do the job.

@daveserra, If you have an acid stomach problem, please be careful adding more acid. The baking soda or seltzer angle may be the way to go. Just a guess, not in the medical professional. You may also want to do a little online research. Some of us can't and don't fast because of health issues. Good luck 👍!

If concerned with heartburn, Norm Robillard, Ph.D. provide some insight. Otherwise, expanding the fasting window at a slow pace is quite effective. Like 10 hours... to 11 hours. and so one, over days.
