Day 1 of a planned 2 days of eating
Yeah I am slowly ‘gaining’ weight. No matter what day of the week I use, my week to week average is going up:
Saturday 3/16 165.0 lb Saturday 3/23 166.0 lb Saturday 3/30 167.0 lb
The only macro I am ‘playing with’ is the protein. Calories, carbs and fats are virtually unchanged. The past weeks I have allowed myself more protein shakes because they ‘make me feel full’ when I am doing my ‘no solid food fasts’.
I have started to drink more “Slim-Fast Keto Shake” to reduce the protein. This has only 4 grams of protein (1 scoop) but 5 carbs. My normal half scoop of “Quest Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder” has 2 carbs but 12 grams of protein. This allowed me to reduce my protein by a third and caused my weight to trend down. However, I started putting the Slim-Fast powder AND the Quest protein powder in the same shake together! Tastes great! I REALLY feel full… horrible for the diet…
So, I know I need to do-something-different or I will continue to ‘trend upward’. I simply need to return to what worked for me when I was trending down 😊
Well, no need to think about that now. I’m 🍴 eating today and tomorrow! 😁
I will eat-what-I-want but, I will make sure I 🏃🏾♂️ run 7 miles a day and 🏋🏾♂️ lift weights every day.
I will probably do a ‘water fast’ on Monday and perhaps Tuesday. That will get my macros back on track…
