When I was still working I got home around 10 a couple of nights a week. I had the bad habit of eating a meal then, after having already had a dinner break around 5. That's one habit I'm glad to have broken. We do eat our dinner later (7:30 - 8 PM) but at least it's only one meal!

Sherrye, I think you’re right, if it is just one meal it can be later. I have eaten later this week as my husband is home and being my birthday week he is spoiling me a little, not good for the scale. I get home about those hours 7:30 - 8, (just got home now @ 7:30), so I will try not to munch as something does smell awfully good in the kitchen.🙃

Thanks Jen, we did just have a few mustard honey pretzels. When life gets back to normal and we are BOTH are working it won’t be so hard. 😔

Thanks Mermee, I will do that as soon as I walk into the house for now on. Many years back in a weight loss group we were told that was a good trick, it help in not munching. But, the best plan is the tea for not only do I love it, it keeps your mouth occupied. 😁
Hubby would like that.🤣 Have a great night.👍

My solutions is intermittent fasting and saving a good portion of calories for bed time. Bonus: I sleep much longer.

Smiles...was my biggest problem, the late night snacking / eating...we all have our weaknesses hun, you know yours and what it takes to lose, no need to cry, what ever the scale reads, it is what it is....just pray for God's help and he'll see you through.

Why not make the diet fit your lifestyle, Shrewdness? If you like and want to eat at night, eat at night and don't eat during some other part of the day.

Yep, agree with @Kat and @Diablo. Eating at night is not inherently bad.

I can eat healthy meals all day and then blow it eating snacks at night too! Also working on that.
