I did that too. The pharmacist asked me and I said “go for it “. Winter 🥶 is coming

I have an appointment in 2 weeks for my covid booster and flu shot. I've never had 2 at a time. Am just getting over a mild case of Shingles bc I've had that vaccine. And boy, I can't recommend it highly enough. A mild case was pretty uncomfortable!

I’m glad you got through all of that. Proud of you though because I would have been a chicken to do all that!:)

That is scary! I just scheduled my Covid booster and flu shot for the same time. I need a shingles vaccine but am going to wait on them. I remember when I got my last Covid booster the pharmacist told me people often feel lousy after the shingles vaccine, so I want to do it when it's the only vaccine I'm getting. I do get a fever and chills after the Covid shots.

My Sister who is a medical doctor advised me to take one shot at a time so that the reactions could be monitored independently...

I need to get all those shots too. Now I'm thinking 1 per week would work better.

Glad you’re feeling better

How is your dental surgery? can you eat food yet?
|
HCB, recovery from the dental survey has gone smoothly, and I am back on regular food as of yesterday. Going to a movie and late lunch with friends tomorrow and looking forward to it.

Oh my, I feel so bad for you! I'm kinda surprised they would do so many at a time! 2 is bad enough, and that's 1 in each arm - unless you have extra arms? 🤣 I'm happy you're feeling much better!
I got the Shingles vaccine at the same time as my Covid booster, & boy did I feel bad. About 4 days bad! But I'm so relieved I got them! I'm going to get my 2nd Covid booster & my flu shot next week, & I hope I sail though it like I did with the 1st booster. Unfortunately, I'm probably not that lucky, as the 1st 2 shots I had the fever chills etc for days. But, still better than getting very sick/dying from Covid! 🙏

John, I considered that, but I've never had a severe reaction to any medication in my life, so I really wasn't concerned. Sore arms and feeling a little tired for 24 hours is as extreme as its ever gotten.

My sister said the Shingles Shot alone laid her low for a few days. I can't imagine all 4!

Oops I meant I got the Shingles vaccines with my 1st & 2nd Covid shots & felt really bad. The 1st Covid booster I had no ill effects from!! 🤯

BBB, I'm so glad you'd already been vaccinated. I've put it off much too long. Shingles is not a pleasant disease.

Sorry for your pain! Makes me glad I just got that 2nd booster and none of the other shots. The booster didn't make me feel bad, but the arm was sore.
