It all started in February 2018, when I was working in the Emergency Department and tried out the new standing scale. The horror of seeing 160lbs totally knocked me off my feet. It all came together, the answers to my why's. Why am I so tired, Why I can't fit in my clothes, Why I am so miserable, Why am I always craving sweet and salty foods, and why am I having second plating.
I decided by February 2019 that I will immerse myself in a new lifestyle and ever since then I have never regretted it. I may have some ups and downs, but I have stayed the course. My healthy lifestyle is now comprised of weight training, cardio, eating within my caloric limits, and at times at a 500 calorie deficit, and more important self-care and rest.
I have met my first goal of 115lbs. and now my ultimate goal of 110llbs. I will stay the course, and continue to celebrate even my smallest wins.
