Turkey Meatloaf with Taco Seasoning

A delicious meatloaf version made the healthy way.



  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Take out a large bowl, cheese grater, and broiler pan.
  2. Dice the small onion and grate a large carrot. Put into the bowl.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Mix well with your hands.
  5. Spray the broiler pan with olive oil spray. Then form the mixture into a loaf and put on broiler pan.
  6. Put in the oven for 25-35 minutes.
  7. Take out of the oven, then let cool for 5-10 minutes.

Exchanged chili powder for taco seasoning. Everyone enjoyed it.

How is this for Atkins induction with taco seasoning, Italian bread crumbs and carrot in it? 1/2 cup of Italian bread crumbs listed on this site has 40 grams of carbs in it. I don't see this being good for any phase of Atkins quite honestly. You have to be careful with taco seasoning as well as most store bought contains Maltodextrin (aka sugar) as one of the main ingredients.
