Had a lovely day yesterday.. an excolleague who is a really good friend came to see me...

Had a good catchup and lots of belly laughs, as I hadn’t seen her since September 😁😁😁

Unfortunately, we used to be lunch buddies and she brought me a jacket potato with tuna mayo

I really enjoyed it☺️☺️
I passed on the cake and got her to take it home for her son, as I said I couldn’t eat cake due to my blood sugar level (true)

However, my weight gain this morning wasn’t as bad as I’d expected and I’ve already fasted for 16hrs..
Beef stew is bubbling in the slow cooker and I did a grocer shop last nite , with meals and snacks planned and ready 😁😁

Currently watching diet secrets on catchup.. this episode is on carbs and it’s really interesting

Thinking of our good friend Phooka who gets married today and sending best wishes 🎊🎊🥂🥂🎉🎉❤️❤️🎈🎈🍾🍾

Went for a carvery yesterday and swapped my stuffing/Yorkiea/roasties for my veggie daughters meat portion.. had to estimate the meat portions for my diary.. let’s just say its a long time since I’d eaten such a big portion of meat with green veggies.. my insides are still very uncomfortable!😉
A couple of years ago, that would have been a normal size portion for me AND I would have eaten the piles of your lies and roasties as well!!😊😊😊😊

I’ve gone back through my journals/ weight history - in order to knock a chunk off my weight, I’m gonna really have to concentrate on keeping my carbs under 20g/ day and IF/EF.. but gI also know I have a carb addiction 😱🤔

Did my measurements yesterday.. I’ve regained 6 of the 17 inches I’d lost off my waist.. and my bust measurements really aren’t helping my back to recover from surgery..😮😮
So although I’ve achieved NSVs like increased mobility and size 12 jeans, losing weight is going to help my insulin resistance/pcos/tiredness/blood sugars/hypertension/joints overall/mobility

Hopefully, this sobering list will help me to motivate myself to claim back some more of my health and set some new goals for my life.
Definitely food for thought
