Current Weight:(29 Dec 08) 192.0 lb
Goal Weight:190.0 lb
following: moleman2000's own diet
performance: losing 0.6 lb a week

40 y/o, recently divorced w/ 4 kids & stopped taking care of myself.
Initially weighed 245 at sign-in here on fatsecret, and met my target weight of 195 lbs in just over 3 months with a new healthy lifestyle of better eating, more hiking & bike riding, and a mostly bike-commute to work. Fatsecret is great for many reasons, food & exercise journaling, and a great support network to name just a couple.

Thanks lgrant59. I rechecked & that's what we were advised at our meeting too. I did see a strange posting on the forum @ WW website - not sure if it's appropriate to post a direct link here, but if you Google "Activity Points Maximum Question" you'll find the link I'm referring to. (Click the first one.)

Anielynn - I'm going to have to go back to my source & confirm - apologies in advance if I have it wrong (God knows I've been wrong before!) Confused

Just stay focused on keeping your points in check - use this site as a guide until you get your books. Don't underestimate points - round up instead of down, keep exercising! Don't be susceptible to O.C.D. monitoring of the scale - the weight will come off. 9 lbs in 3.5 weeks is "doable" - but I have heard that the closer you get to goal weight, the slower it goes Doubt

Hang in there & good luck!

Hi Candym - I can advise that your 2 hours of intense cardio will get you a maximum of 4 activity points per day (this is the maximum allowable regardless!) Don't have my books with me here @ work to advise on the other - sorry. Sad
