Finding a Personal Trainer
I'm using a personal trainer three days a week; he helps me to push myself, made me start using this program (Fat Secret), insists I log all my meals and helps me keep on track. The one thing I've learned is that we owe it to ourselves to fire a trainer who doesn't have our best interests at heart and keep interviewing till we find the right one. If any of you know someone in a BNI (Business Networking International) chapter, ask if they have a trainer in their group. That's how I found mine and he's fabulous.

Looking for Support System
Feel free to add me, as well. And good on you for adding exercise. We can all lose weight if we change our eating, but the exercise gets us toned and helps keep the weight off. I had neck surgery in August, 2011 and could only eat applesauce and mushy vegetables. I lost 20 pounds in two months, but no exercise. Of course, when I went back to "normal" eating, it all came back on. Now I'm working out 4-5 days a week and I am confident the weight will come off and STAY off.

How do you enter nutrition data manually here?
Go into food item, add food and scroll down. There should be a set of blanks that you can fill in. The other thing to do is, if you have a smart phone, ie, android or iphone, load the app and once in, there is a symbol that looks like a bar-code on the upper right corner. you can train that on the bar-code of the product and every bit of nutritional information is imbedded int here. It just loads for you; very cool, very easy. Good luck, hope this helps.

So, I've just started my second round of antibiotics and they've added prednizon; I've got the type of flu virus that is morphong into upper-respirory infection. I've been banned from cardio till we get this under control. Accourding to the doctor, it's necessary that I can breath. So all I can do is weight training.
