Just turned forty-three and back in college. Love music, literature, and tree-hugging. I whitewater raft when I can, and love being out in nature. I want to get my fitness levels back to where I was when I was twenty-five.

last straw?
I have always kept losing weight and then gaining it back ( and then some).This year I went back to college at the age of 42 and found I could not fit behind the chair/desks in the classroom without having to squeeze myself in. Then go through the embarassment of trying to lever myself back out at the end of the lecture. This time I am not using any of the fad diets I have used before. I am going to take the weight off gradually, setting intermediate goals, and I am going to keep it off.
