Breakfast
I love making Egg White Scrambles, it's pretty quick and you can prepare the cut up veggies on Sunday and they'll last the week.

I take some spinach and saute it, throw in 3 or 4 egg whites, scramble them up with S&P. Once it's almost done, I through in about a TB of feta cheese and some chopped tomatoes. I have it with a low fat yogurt and presto a healthy around 300 calorie PC Combo (Protein-Carb combo)

Another one I like is Huevos Rancheros with red potatoes instead of tortillas. You slice up 1 or 2 small red potatoes, put a teaspoon of olive oil and brush them, add S&P-throw them in the over for 15 minutes. (I do this as I'm getting read for work). Then I scramble up 3 egg whites, throw in 2 T of fat free cheese and a little enchilada sauce. I put the egg mix on top of the potatoes, and again-another PC Combo.

I've loved breakfast AFTER my cereal or toast days.

Don't Stop Till You Get Enough!
My gym has the Cardio Cinema now, so that keeps me entertained and not thinking about the time. I ran for 20 min on the Elliptical then 20 min on the treadmill today-my goal was 20/20, but I felt like quitting after 20/10...but I kept going! Sometimes I have to kick in my own motivation. Self competition helps-"I have to at least meet last weeks time", or "hey I can pass it up by 5 minutes", lol.

For myself- I agree with Brooke's numbers, except I eat around 1500 calories per day.

I may not be the best person to answer your question..but I can give you my 2 cents Smile. I think with any calorie limit, you need to balance your carb, protein, and fats. They all play a part in helping you stay full until your next meal. I'm not an Atkins dieter, so I don't know what you mean by 'low' carb, but I eat about 200 G of carbs per day (50 per meal). Carbs(along with fats and proteins) helps me stay full for about 4 hours until my next meal. So in short, keep it balanced, even if you are lowering your calorie intake. Hope that helps a little.
