I am about to turn 61 years old. I have been fighting my weight for years. It is not that I don't try. I just don't try. :-) Not totally true. I was Atlanta's Biggest Loser in December 2010. I lost 35 lbs in that competition. I was motivated. But after that I lost it. I have gained back 15 lbs since then. I refuse to gain any more. I am at this point scheduled for a sleeve gastrectomy in April of this year. I am hoping being a part of fatsecret can possibly avoid that, but at this point it is happening.

I am married with two grown sons and three beautiful grandchildren. I stay busy with church, being on the praise and worship team and most recently have gotten active again in community theater. I love being active. I just need to get my eating under control. I have a dear friend who got me started on the fatsecret path so here is hoping something good can come of this adventure.

Hi Everybody,
I am brand new here and super excited. I see a lot that will be able to help me in my long time quest.Confused I weighed in at 245 (GROSS) but plan to get down to 160 before the year is out hopefully. Glad to be here.
