atkins induction calorie question
Willow, I also found as I began Atkins that I had an issue with getting enough calories a day. I frequently was not eating more then 1000cal and less than 20 carbs a day. Between these 2 issues I lost no weight my first month. I found that increasing my carb limit to 25 a day helps to insure I eat enough carbs. I also make sure I eat about 3.5oz of cheese a day. I use a variety of high Cal and high fat cheeses. One ore portioned bag gets about 400cals. I also cook with extra butter to add calories. The other thing I did (since ive been on induction for 6 weeks) is go ahead and add nuts back into my diet. It is also high fat with decent calories. Eating a small avocado a day will give you 300+cals. Hope this helps.

Atkin buddies- induction phase support wanted
I also have recently began Atkins. I am in induction (6weeks now) but have had alot of trouble losing the weight. I am finally on track and could definatly use some like minded friends for support. My DH tries but just doesnt understand how this makes me feel. I have alot to lose so I will be staying in Induction for awhile. So I would love to be buddies for you or anyone else looking for some support.
