Lost 101 pounds a few years ago. First 50 pounds, I starved myself-so it should come as no surprise that I gained that same 50 pounds back after a couple of years!
We're trying Atkins and either it's not working OR we're doing it wrong!
But we're pretty unhappy about the food choices and flavors, having already given up everything we love...

HELP!
Thanks for the sites, gkcfm85, and the advice too. Today, like most days, I have a ton of protein and not enough fat...
I'm just not a big cheese eater and that's where i'm at in the ladder to get my fat from! At least I do love almonds Smile

HELP!
we have two atkins books and one low carb recipe cookbook.
the recipes in all of them are either bland or taste horrible!

i make sure to get enough FV's and
i eat tons of chicken/steak/salami/bacon (4 oz/serving, of course)
and my protein% is normally higher than my fat%

been reading up on set points and body starvation and REALLY need suggestions to add more calories...

HELP!
Just realized we're probably in starvation mode with too few calories and we're not losing weight. What should I eat to up my calories but keep my carbs around 25?
ALSO...
I think the sugar free candies might be hindering the weight-loss BUT it's the one thing we've got left! It feels like we've given up EVERYTHING we love to be on Atkins and little treats are what keeps us going.
What should we do?Question
