I am 67 years old, 68 in less than a month. I always thought I had a weight problem but as I look back I really did not, until--- I have hypothyroid so it was always a battle to maintain my weight. When I was in my early 50's I moved to a new state and the doctors changed my thyroid medication and I gained 80 lbs in 3 months. About that same time I started to be short of breath, thought it was from my weight gain actually from COPD, but I could not longer enjoy dancing, hiking, biking or all the activities I had enjoyed. That also contributed to my weight gain. I have been trying to lose the weight for years now but never had much success. I was in a medical scooter so I was not even going for walks. I did work hard and am no longer in the scooter.

Recently I was diagnosed pre-diabetic so I have gotten serious about my diet. It is not easy since I love to make home made ice cream, home made bread and lots of cakes.
Going to need help and encouragement and maybe a few slaps on the wrist but the next few months is going to be a real journey! I need to lose at a minimum 139 lbs.

I did not want to change my password but I made my changes and then changed my password. It saved one of my setting not the other three. Do I really have to change my password for each individual change?? That is ridiculous. Wouldn't you agree. Already logged in, we should not have to change it 4 times in one day to make 4 changes to our settings

I love that I can track my statistics here but I am so frustrated! I tried to find friends but either no one replies or cares. I try to update my settings from years ago and the app say to password confirm with no place to do that, I join a challenge and can not find where to post my results, I try to join a group, I only found one group out of all the people that participate and they have not accepted me and I submitted months ago. Am I really that horrible a person. When II tried to synch my settings I lost all my history. Why do I bother? I thought I could find encouragement but no-- Bet dollars to donuts no one bothers to reply
