I love that I can track my statistics here but I am so frustrated! I tried to find friends but either no one replies or cares. I try to update my settings from years ago and the app say to password confirm with no place to do that, I join a challenge and can not find where to post my results, I try to join a group, I only found one group out of all the people that participate and they have not accepted me and I submitted months ago. Am I really that horrible a person. When II tried to synch my settings I lost all my history. Why do I bother? I thought I could find encouragement but no-- Bet dollars to donuts no one bothers to reply

hootie47 you can change your settings in "settings", there in the right corner you have email / password, just change it if it's making you problems. When you join a challenge your results will update automatically as soon as you report to fatsecret your weigh ins. If it says error then it won't update in the challenge, it's a fatsecret known bug. Most groups are dead, don't bother. You'll find friends here on the forums Wink

finding friends and adding buddies are not the same thing. If you want some buddies just click on a members name and add them Smile You don't have to wait for people to add you. Cheer up, its not the end of the world!!!!

I did not want to change my password but I made my changes and then changed my password. It saved one of my setting not the other three. Do I really have to change my password for each individual change?? That is ridiculous. Wouldn't you agree. Already logged in, we should not have to change it 4 times in one day to make 4 changes to our settings

No you don't have to. You must be using a phone or kindle. Try a regular computer. I know it's annoying. I made my changes on my husband's iPad. Generally I just don't make any changes to avoid the frustration.

When you send someone a buddy request they do have to accept it or ignore it.

When you go into 'My Buddies" which is in MY Community to the right you can see who've sent you a request and who you've sent requests to.

Maybe this is the reason some think no one is becoming their buddies, they're waiting to be accepted?Shock

So sorry, I thought this was a pretty quiet site to begin with. I learned eventually that the groups don't do much. Most challenges are result oriented. It's the forums and journaling (if you leave it public) that create comments and commenting on others. Join in.

up on the right corner is a search bar... type in " looking for buddy" and many threads come up... try clicking on all those that have posted before you looking for a buddy and see how that goes.
