How long does a plateau last?
The main thing is don't give up or get discouraged. The body has to take time to adjust to the new you. If it doesn't end in say 6 weeks as mentioned above, try changing your diet, times you eat, way you exercise. The body is smart and even a good routine will make the body stall on weight loss. Try to always do different things for exercise and eat different things so your not in a rut. Hope that helps.

Wow, that was very interesting. I have suspected for a really long time that a "week" was not actually a week. The losses they have are just not possible for one week without surgery. And the dehydration thing just kills me! I'm surprised it hasn't killed a contestant! I may watch the next season, but with a much more cynical eye that I had before. I never understood why they take people so out of shape and do some of the challenges and workouts that they do. I'd love to hear the truth behind Granpa Jerry's passing out now.
