I live in the Adirondack Mountains in New York. I had an impoverished childhood and my parents always ate unhealthy in order to make ends meet. I've never been a healthy weight for longer than I can remember. My goal is to get down to a totally healthy weight for my height which is very short! I've tried a lot of different fad diets and I'm a big fan of fasts. Depending on the diet I usually lose 10 lbs then plateau for a little while until I start a new fast. Sometimes it's merely 5 or most recently 4 lbs that I've lost but all together I've had a grand total of about 50ish. At my most I weighed 205. I was very lazy and didn't have the energy to go about my daily routines. I slept for 10 to 12 hours a night and still woke feeling unrested. I was in a constant fog. I love eating healthy. I've cut out soda completely, almost all meat, bread I only eat once in a great while and I've very picky about the types of bread that I do eat. Dairy has just recently been eliminated from my diet. No artificial colors, very few preservatives, I hate sodium benzoate (which nobody really talks about even though they should.) HFCS is evil and since I've taken it out of my diet I can actually taste it when it's in something. (and it tastes bad) Other than dieting I love going hiking and mountain climbing. I play guitar and piano and I'm a blues/rock vocalist, and I'm great at it. I have a big strong fiance(jason) that I love and 3 cats.(chaz, mitsy, stinky) I'm an easy going person (Pisces) I'm very spiritual and spend a lot of my time in natural meditation. =)
