I am middle aged which includes lots of the typical 50-year old issues both good and not so pleasant. Nevertheless, I delight in being free to do as I please, when I please (meaning no dependent children or otherwise needy people.) Thus I plan many daily activities around exercise. Unfortunately, my eating habits lack the same organizational prowess. So once again, I am working on a better eating lifestyle.

I'm not following a specific diet, rather trying to focus on having protein at every meal and snack while restricting my intake of simple carbs.

Went away and ate too much at the buffet. Thus, no weight loss. However, I had much more self-control than in the past, a testament to my changes.
