I had one of those nights last night where I just wanted to eat things. Dinner was a turkey breast roast and I had a good portion but I wanted to nibble on more as we were cleaning up the kitchen afterwards. Then, I had a cookie as they were staring at me on the counter. I made cookies on Sunday for my son and hubby and normally the cookies don't interest me. And then I wanted a handful of chips. Lucky for me I didn't want to 'get caught' eating the snacks that I had to quit eating the munchies before I really wanted to and put them away or risk the question "whatcha eating now mummy"!
Oh well, today is a new day and I will try to do better! Already got a run in at lunch time.

Very slight drop this week. I'll take it!
New workout this week. A coworker has returned from mat leave. And she is a tough cookie which is good, 'cause I need her kind of workout. So only 2 days of running this week and 2 days of tough workouts doing strength exercises that I had no idea existed!! I'm feeling it!! I need to keep doing this!
No plans for the weekend, just the usual, helping out at the farm tomorrow, cleaning the house and grocery shopping. DH is working, so it's me and my son hanging together.

No change this week which is good as it's been a bad week. First my son is super sick with the flu followed by DH. I haven't gotten a good night's sleep all week. Which leads to no workouts. Oh, well hopefully, everyone will get on the mend soon and then we'll get better sleep too.

Lots of carbs this past weekend! Mind you, I did lots of yard work too! But I need to get back on track again. And I had plans to but my 6 year old son is sick with the flu and kept us up last night. So, we kept him home today from school and I took him to the doctors. He has the flu. And he is miserable. Working from home today, or trying. The carrot cake in the fridge called my name this afternoon. So I had a small piece. Hopefully the hubby will finish it off tonight and then no more to tempt me!

Wow, no wonder I've added to the scale...my eating has been horrible. I didn't realize this until I just looked at the past week of eating. AND it doesn't help when you come home from work to an ooey gooey lasagna with some zucchini in place of pasta noodles and a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting!! My wonderful DH has been wanting to make me a cake for my birthday which was a month ago and he finally find a day to do it. I told him he should have just held off until Mothers Day but he wanted to do it! We also went to the bank last night and paid out of mortgage! So, some cake was needed to celebrate.
Lots to do this weekend especially now that the weather is going to be nice. Yard work at home and at my parents! Plus the usual grocery shopping and house cleaning.
