I forgot to journal yesterday AM I had to get moving and get gas before work so Katie and I walked the Cushman trail instead of me going to a run since we were in NGH anyhow. It's so hard to walk with her because she wants to stop all of the time and be leisurely where as I am in it for the exercise benefits.
Deadlifts had me eating heavy again Saturday. I wasn't egregious or over the top about it but I definitely needed extra fuel. Yesterday I didn't eat quite as much though, pancetta and eggs with bacon and sausage plus coffee with cream and a bit of cheese during service. Also 2 glasses red wine and a few squares of chocolate when I got home.
I haven't weighed in sometime now and I'm a bit curious what my weight is doing. I am able to hit the 3rd belt hole without really trying and it being uncomfortable when fastened.
It's finally raining.
I'm grateful for the late summer/early fall rain.
I'm grateful for having clean clothes.
I'm grateful for going on a date today w/ Katie.
I will turn my hobby of coffee roasting into an entrepreneurial endeavor.

I was a bit more hungry yesterday towards the end of the day. I was feeling a bit hungry on my drive home and was thinking about having something once I got home but it wasn't too strong when I got home so I thought better of it. My stomach was active when I woke up as a result though.
I had my highest jump rope repetitions in 60 seconds yesterday, 156. I'm getting better. I still have intervals where I get tripped up multiple times but I think they come more of a result of fatigue during my intervals than anything.
39 degrees on the ice back yesterday, 10 minutes. Slow box breathing exercises made it much more tolerable.
I am grateful for the awesome summer weather streak we had.
I'm grateful for working in a great environment.
I'm grateful for having 2 great companions in Katie and our pupper Jaxon.
I will turn my hobby of coffee roasting into an entrepreneurial endeavor.

I haven't recorded my weight lately. I think my hunger is really normalizing, I only ate a small amount of last night's family meal. Previously I would have eaten likely twice of what I did yesterday. I want to believe it has something to do with the ice baths resetting my leptin, but I can only speculate.
It's 40 degrees this AM, I'll be able to get my cold bath truly down, I got it to 42 yesterday morning, 7-8 minutes was the limit for me yesterday.
I got my new book yesterday, The 3rd Chimpanzee. I'm looking forward to reading it, I was trying to remember where I got the suggestion to read it, but I believe it was from an additional reading section in a previously read book.
Evolution and paleoanthropology and how they pertain to diet and nutrition are truly fascinating to me.
I am grateful the cooler weather is here.
I am grateful for not being sensitive to eggs and being able to enjoy them.
I am grateful for bbq.
I will turn my hobby of coffee roasting into an entrepreneurial side hustle.

I wasn't all that hungry yesterday morning so I had a smaller than usual breakfast. Last week I was pretty hungry, this week my hunger or the amount needed to satiate me has been less. I like to eat so it's kind of a bummer!
It's a bit colder this morning, upper 40's. The cold tub is in the low 50's so I should be able to get it nice and cold once I add in the ice :).
Jackie really struggled yesterday, she missed the cookies on the afternoon snack, for the boat no less, and the corn bread and carrot cake on the dinner... it was a bit frustrating since she's such a slow learner.
I felt a bit nauseous after eating my egg whites for breakfast, it might have been a bit too soon after waking up, not sure what went on there, I feel fine now.
I'm grateful for being literate.
I"m grateful for being exposed to reading and enjoying it so much.
I'm grateful football season is here.
I will turn my hobby of roasting coffee into a side hustle.
