I forgot to journal last night! At least I remembered to do it this morning. I was a bit hungry when I got home and I was showing a calorie burn of ~3500 yesterday so I decided to have some chocolate and wine last night. I weighed myself after my run and saw a new low weight of 184. I'm trying to not get too excited and think that's my new bottom as I'm sure there was some water loss involved, but the quart of coffee could have offset this also, so who knows! It was hot yesterday and looks like it's supposed to be about 90 today. We also had a busy day at work to boot, a real ass kicker. I just purchased Wim Hof's book about becoming cold adapted. I'm thinking I may build myself a little ice pool out back.
I'm grateful for the great summer weather we have been having.
I'm grateful for where I've come from and where I am now with my health.
I'm grateful for my new smartwatch, it's really helping me refocus on my goals.
I will get an idea for and have the confidence to start my own side hustle and will become an entrepreneur.

I was able to control the desire to eat a bit better today. My hunger wasn't as off the charts today. I've been doing the first stages of cold training as outlined by Dr. Kruse as he eluded to in his book and has outlined on his blog. The past 2 mornings I have been plunging my face into a bowl of ice cold water for as long as I can which has been about 20 seconds. I do this until I can keep my face in the bowl until I need to come up for air.
I'm grateful for having a place to come home to.
I'm grateful for having a loving family to come home to.
I'm grateful for having time.
I will get the courage to take a plunge on a side hustle and it will eventually lead to self employment. The idea will come to me and the opportunity will present itself.

I went for it a bit today... I had a nice morning, saw the lowest # on the scale I've seen in a long time, had an OK jump rope session and then ate until I wasn't hungry anymore and didn't stuff myself for breakfast. Then it was burgers and dogs for family meal and I went to town having 2 dogs and 3 burgers with cheese, I was pretty full. As I write this I'm thinking I could eat some more if I so chose. We had a busy night at work but I still only ended up getting 89% of my activity, which I don't usually have any problem hitting when I'm working.
I'm thankful for my job
I'm grateful for the time and ability to take care of my health.
I'm grateful to live in such a beautiful part of the world.
