Caved and had McDonald's today. Wow! What a mistake.I wasted a whopping 1000 calories on this one crappy meal. I have 1700 left but not sure I want to use them since the fat content on this meal was over 45%. May be salad and diet ice tea for dinner.
Good thing I got my work out in. My honey and I did a couch to 5K work out for 20 minutes too. This at least burned 890 calories. So maybe I am at only using up 800 calories.
Got to try to start eating healthier items! This is just the beginning of my transformation so need to take a breath and not beat myself up when I fall off the wagon buying junk food.
At least the workouts have been going well and I have been good at counting my calories. Just got to get better at the fat,carb, protein balance percentages. It is all a learning curve for a guy who used to eat anything under the sun and not gain an ounce! Ahh - the follies of lost youth.

Lost one pound this week. Wished it was more but this is a start. Starting couch to 5K this weekend. I am hoping it will help me get in shape and lose more weight.
Here's one pound 60 disappearing from the 60 I have to shed. 59 left to go before the end of August.

I was really worried I did myself in today with a trip to McDonald's but I didn't! So nice to splurge and not feel guilty about it. I know, I know. It can't be a habit though. The walking is paying off too it seems. going to start to do the couch to 5k challenge to see if that helps the weight come off sooner too.
I am just so anxious for rapid loss. I just need to realize that it didn't come on over night so it ain't coming off overnight either!
I paid my 20 bucks into the biggest loser group at work so I am really motivated to lose now. I want to own that cash prize!

This was only my second week on the Biggest Loser Challenge at work. I lost 5 the first week and 2 this week. I just wished it would come off easier.
But after seeing the troubles my parents are in with their health I have to do something. I have to eat healthier and get my but moving off the couch if I want to live a full life. HIV is one thing but that has become like Diabetes at this point and just something I live with. I don't know what I will do if I don't get these other issues into check soon!.
I am at a good place with a 7 pound start though.
Just need to watch out for the stress eating that does me in.

Ithought I was back up to 250 but apparently I was actually down to 244 and then today at 239. Definetely need new scale at home! The one at work is spot on.
