Happily married to my partner of 16 years in Vermont with our two kids and grandson...maybe too happily and that is why I need to shed some pounds.

Have struggled with my weight since my mid 20's and now it is causing me health problems. I need to get my blood pressure under control and my diet too so I don't end up with heart issues like my dad or diabetes like my mom. Health is now dominating my need to take this all seriously from now moving forward.

Here's hoping! Time for change and change is good.

Starting a diet challenge...
right there with you Zaftiggity. I have been there. I am controlling the same cravings lately by taking walks when they got overwhelming. These cravings hit me at night mainly so it is a good distraction and good for me too. I have also started packing my lunches for work too. This is helping me avoid trips to the drive thru.
