Day 30 of my 90-day program was not too good but not too bad. FIRST of all, yay, I made it one-third of the way through and weight loss is on track. However, the last two days have been sort of out of control. Now, I didn't eat anything that was not keto approved, but I ate way more than my 1700 calorie limit.

My plan is to eat OMAD for today and tomorrow, I think that will help me keep burning fat. (We'll see). I decided to take Friday off from work because I need a "catch up" day (not a catsup day CrumbCake, go back to sleep). I have a list of small things that need doing but my program did not provide enough energy. I'm thinking that if I take a day off, I can knock out most of them.

This weekend is going to also be tricky. I have a holy day that is not a fast day, I feel obligated to eat to keep in the spirit of the events. I've weighed "cheat meal", "cheat day", "eat keto but eat lots", and "eat lower calories but have a steak or something expensive". Crumbcake wants a cheat day, but it would take me too long to get back to my diet, and I've signed up for the 8-week challenge. So, I'll have to keep you posted.

Overall, lot's of temptation. My determination wants to falter. I need to focus my attention and gather the willpower to navigate through till Monday. I think if I make it till then, I will be fine. (I'll just stay out of the bakery section, I'm having nightmares of Crumbcake getting us arrested for sitting down with multiple open packages and smearing himself with chocolate brownies). Have a great day everyone!!! Today I will pray for people struggling with their programs.

Day 29 of my 90-day program started off fine. I had very little energy left as my 72 hr. fast was ending, but I made my lunch. I went for a very SLOW walk for 4 miles and left for work. I had to eat some cheese on the way. I felt pretty good once I ate breakfast and my energy returned right away.

The only problem was that I was still hungry when I got off work, I had to get some groceries and Crumbcake was on the loose. You know that kid running down the isles you have to tell "put that back". I managed to get through the checkout line with only one thing I had not planned, that was a very small can of mixed nuts for $2. (DARN).

Got into the car and Crumbcake ripped open 2 string cheese and a package of turkey pepperoni. He polished it off before I drove in the driveway. (bad boy) I made dinner and ate half the can of nuts. I will have to make it up today and go back and record the calories (scared)

Well, today I will try to get control over Crumbcake again, (he is sitting back with a self-satisfied looked on his face, I'll wipe that smirk off his face). Anyway, have a great day everyone, hope I didn't sabotage myself too much!

Day 27 and day 28 of my 90-day program were pretty good. I walked on Sat. for 4 miles but Sun. just rested. I had no sickness or headaches while fasting, but really weak, no chores got done. One thing about fasting is you get so much time to just sit and think about life.

Sunday is a Holy Day for me, I considered a cheat meal. Crumbcake really wants Chinese food. But, I am acutely aware of the inner lust for eating food that is harmful, sugar and carbs. I have decided I will make my feast day special with keto approved foods, plus I will add some nuts (maybe). Crumbcake say "awe shucks", he can't be in charge because he will not make the right choices. I need to stay strong.

So far, my program is working and as long as I'm making progress I plan to keep at it without changes. Hope everyone has a great week!

Day 26 of my 90-day program was super awesome. I felt just about as good as I have at any point so far. The first few days of keto I had too much energy resulting in loss of sleep (but I did get extra stuff done lol). Now, my energy runs high in the mornings and lowers after eating, but mostly steady during the afternoon and evening. Fasting, I feel pretty good but lower energy and take the time to rest. Once I refeed, my energy slowly returns over a day.

Yesterday, I woke up early with lots of energy, had some coffee with heavy whipping cream. I am not drinking many keto-coffees at this point because I want my body to burn its own fat for energy. Seems to be working. I still will drink one here and there if I need extra energy.

I lost another inch on my waist, but I'm still 40 inches around the middle. I actually was 58 inches at my heaviest (10 yrs ago). I have to say, I have never had this much success diesting as I have now that I've found fatsecret! This tool is making all the difference in the world. I finally am learning the nutritional values of the foods I eat and can track my intake as well as progress. Making small adjustments, practicing where to add calories, where to remove them, all add up to more weight loss. LOVE IT!

So hoping you all have a wonderful weekend, take time for loved ones, call or visit a shut-in, be good to YOU by eating healthy, you deserve good health and all its benefits.

Day 25 of my 90-day program was really great! I felt more normal throughout the day, except for some afternoon sleepiness. The weather was super warm which made the 4 mile walk very enjoyable. I am doing a little yard work (ok, I mean very little) each day, so things are appearing to my neighbors that at least I'm trying.

I need to buy some flowers for my pots that go in front of my storefront and house. I have been watching youtube for ideas, last year was not so great on the hanging baskets.

I hit my 2lbs goal for weight loss this week but just barely. I blame Crumbcake for eating too many jalapeno poppers, he made me worry so much, I even got up in the middle of the night to weigh myself. I noticed I was going to be fine, so I was able to sleep the rest of the night.

No amazing insights this week, just trying not to forget what I've learned so far and keep practicing better habits. My next 72-hour fast starts after breakfast. I'm enjoying the process although it seems long once I get to Sunday. Hope everyone here has a wonderful day and a successful weekend.
