I'm 25 years old from central Texas. I've been mildly unhealthy for a large part of my life until a few years ago when I went to change all of that. I began by taking a weight training course in college, only to find out that my unhealthy lifestyle became noticeably visible when my muscles began to develop!! Now I was not only unfit, I was lumpy and all sorts of scary looking to boot. I've gained 15 pounds since I was 16 years old but I look like I gained 50. Now I'm aiming to lose 30 and bring myself into just above the athletic body fat composition range.
I got a gym membership and started working out but I did everything wrong. I overworked, under ate, and pretty much destroyed any good progress I had made since my weight training was over. Having failed once I went back to the drawing board. I'm now in constant contact with my physician, and I've hired a personal trainer to make sure I'm not making the same mistakes again
