calories burnt by exercising
Hi Katana_X - I went on a website called
www.dietitian.com
and put in all my data regarding height and weight. I am 72 kilos and that website calculated that I should eat 1200 cal per day until I reach 67 and then I should re-enter my data again! Do you have another way of calculating the daily calories intake?

calories burnt by exercising
I joined the fatsecret about a week ago and I am a bit confused about the calories burned through exercise! I have calculated that according to my weight I should have a daily intake of 1200 calories. However if I do some exercise and say burn 200 calories does that mean that I can actually log in 1400 calories for that day. I know from previous experience that if you eat too little when you are very overweight you do not actually loose that much as the body goes into hunger mode and stores the fat. Can anybody advise on this matter?
