Not sure why, but I was hungry all day yesterday. One reason may be that I had a hard time getting in all my water. Busy at work then friends from VT came for the afternoon/evening. My husband, daughter, and the "boys" went to a basketball game while the wife and I went to the movies. Before this, they all had pizza and salad while I made myself a turkey burger. Didn't get anything at the movies, though she kept offering me Peanut M & Ms. After they all left, I had another plain turkey burger and then some peanuts! Could have eaten a lot more, as it was, I went past my 8pm cut-off. Last night I was awakened by leg cramps, something I haven't had in a long time. I got up and took a Mg supplement (I usually take one in the evening but last night when I was in bed I remembered I hadn't taken it but figured skipping just one night wouldn't make a difference. Boy, was I wrong!). This morning I have a HA, again something I haven't had in a while. So far today I have only had broth.

Dehydration is a b!tch--it makes you achey and hungry! Lesson learned!

Today is my husband's birthday (57th) and we are going out for dinner (all he keeps saying is that he wants for his birthday is a beer and a good steak).

Yay! I am finally out of the 220s!. Yesterday's fast went well. Only a little hunger toward bedtime. This morning I wasn't hungry and so far have only had my broth, but I will have a coffee with cream before lunch. I was the biggest loser this week at work! Now everyone is starting to take this LCHF/IF thing seriously.

I spent the weekend cleaning out and organizing my closet. I discovered so many nice things that I hadn't worn in years. Many of the pants are loose but many of the tops look okay being a little big (I probably wore them a little too tight to start with). My husband is down almost 10 lbs just by osmosis--he isn't doing strict LC but since I don't buy bread, make baked goods, or cook potatoes, rice, or pasta anymore, he is reaping the benefits as well.

Onederland is just over the horizon!

Not sure why the scale didn't move as much as I would have hoped. One theory is that I consumed a lot of broth with salt in it yesterday during my fast. Hopefully today I will diurese and if so, I will update my weight. The fast went well (still going until noon today). Not hungry at all. My husband looked so guilty eating dinner last night and then came into the parlor later with a mug of hot fresh chicken broth. Today is our office weigh in. We'll see how I do. One of the ladies has joined WW and says she needs the discipline and support. I told her about FS and she said she had tried WW online in the past and didn't do it well because she wasn't good about logging her food. I told her that FS is WAY more than just a place to log your food, it is a community of support. Hopefully she (and the other girls here) will get on board. I think I have a long way to go to get them to go LCHF though!
