Alcohol- going out need a drink.
From the LA Times "Booster Shots" blog:

A 12-ounce bottle of Guinness Draught will provide 126 calories. The same amount of Guinness Extra Stout offers 153. And Harp [...] comes in at 142.
All this according to beer100.com, which offers some fascinating reading -- providing both calories of imports and domestic brews.

Barcode Scanner Not Working [Bug]
Hi All!
I am running a HTC Flyer, Android 3.2.1, kernel 2.6.35.10
The Barcode Scanner uses the front camera of my Flyer. When I start "Barcode Scanner" (not Calorie Counter), I can get barcodes to scan using "Reverse Camera Image", under "Settings".
When I do not check this option, the barcode does not scan.
When I run Calorie Counter, it opens the Barcode Scanner, but the barcodes do not scan (there are no options to "Reverse Camera Image"
.
The barcode scanner is a nifty feature, my wife loves how easy it is (it works fine on her Virgin Mobile Motorola Triumph, Android 2.2), but the scanner does not run on my tablet.
Thanks!

How do you use the barcode scanner?
It might be that your camera does not work:
On my HTC, I need "Reversed Camera Image" to scan a product barcode (it uses a mirror image from my front camera).
After poking around on my phone a bit, I suspect that the Calorie Counter does not have the ability to do the "Reverse Image" scan.
Start "Barcode Scanner" (not Calorie Counter), and check "Reverse Camera Image" under "Settings". If you can scan products using "Reverse Image" then there's no problem with your camera.

Barcode scanner Android
I have a HTC Flyer Android Version 3.2.1.
Calorie Counter uses the "Barcode Scanner" application to scan products. If I start up the Barcode Scanner application (not Calorie Counter), I can check "Reversed Camera Image" to find a product. If I do not check this option, the scanner cannot find the product. If I go back to Calorie Counter after changing the settings on the Barcode Scanner, it still cannot find the product.
I suspect that the Calorie Counter does not use Barcode Scanner settings, nor does it have the ability to do the "Reverse Image" scan.
Couldn't hurt to ask the developers about finding some way to use "reverse images".
