So on week 13 I lose nothing....I didn't gain either but I didn't lose. I feel like I work too hard for this, I deserve at least a 1-2 pound loss.
I had a personal training session yesterday after my disappointing weigh in. I was not looking forward to it at all. I talked to the trainer a lot and she helped me to have a different perspective. I equate weight loss with success, but are there other ways to measure success besides the scale?
Well I can do sit ups now, and I could only do crunches before. I can jog on the treadmill even for just a few mins which is something that I definitely could not do before. I'm down 2 pants sizes.
Well then it all started to make more sense. I am a success and I don't need the scale to tell me so. I have decided to not weigh in for a few weeks. I have a pair of jeans that I'm working towards. The are a size 18 and I'm currently a size 20. When the pants fit I will weigh in..this is for my own piece of mind and to keep me motivated.

3 pounds this week! Total of 43 so far. I also have lost 4 inches from my waist. I'm still wearing the same pants as I was on day 1 namely because I don't own the next size down. They are a 24 and now I'm definitely a 22 but my next smallest pair of Jeans is a 20. I keep trying them on each week and while I can button and zip them but they are still pretty tight. It's going to be a few more weeks until they fit properly.
