I am definitely fighting the urge to weigh in today. I stepped on the scale this morning and it said 179.5! I'm excited, but I'm also a little concerned that it might disappear tomorrow morning at my weigh in. D: I feel a lot better when I put in smaller numbers. That downward sloping diagram gives me a lot of motivation. Nobody likes to feel as if their work is in vain.

I recalculated my RDI this morning, because I have been ridiculously hungry lately. I think burning almost 4000 calories a day finally caught up with my previous RDI (when I put that I had a sedentary life style, because I hadn't been exercising) of 1800 calories.
I'm not exactly going to shoot to eat exactly what my RDI is, I just want to know that I can eat when I'm hungry and not have to worry about it showing up negatively on my FatSecret records.
Now: I'm off to run!

The only thing I really have to journal about today is my goal for this week. This is the week I make it back into the 70s. I have to lose 1.5 pounds in order to be 179, but I think I can do it.
If I run every single day, that's at the very least 700 calories burned a day through exercise. Over the week, that's 4200 calories (including today). So... that's 1.2 pounds from the running calories burned. If I do the elliptical every day as well, that's a minimum of 250 each day. That 1500 calories. So... that's .43 pounds. From my exercise, I can reach my goal with 1.63 pounds burned just from my daily exercise. Not to mention the calories I'll burn from my food-exercise deficit.
I hope the math (and hard work) shows up on the scale at the end of the week. I'd be SO happy.

Today was a "cheat" day. I went to a theme park (Islands of Adventure, to be specific) and thus did not have a healthy dinner.
I don't know how many calories I burned today either, because I didn't wear my heart rate monitor.
I'm not gonna feel bad, though. I can have one free-be every once in a while. Tomorrow it will be back to the grind. I'll go to the gym and eat my Whole Grain Cheerios.

I was so surprised by that number! I've been bouncing back and forth between 183 and 184.5 all week, so I was expecting, at the least, 182. Then I got on the scale this morning for my weigh-in and BOOM! 181.5!
I guess it really does take some time for all those workouts to kick in. You were right, Mom.
