I am 59, almost 60 and have been sitting around the house way too much. I rarely go out and do anything and LOVE all the wrong foods. I've gained weight steadily over the past several years and am now 20 lbs overweight.
My doctor says I need to lower my cholesterola and triglycerides, and of course loosing the weight would be a good idea. I have no stamina and tire quickly at the slightest thing.
So, starting at 156 I would like to get down under 140 by the end of the year. It's going to be a struggle to stay out of the cookies, away from the pizza and microwave popcorn.
I live in Yuma AZ where it's too hot to do anything outside in the summer, but I've started walking at night. Another week or two and I'll be able to walk earlier in the day and get more sleep. :)
